Our experienced speech pathologists work with people living with neurological and muscular conditions, intellectual disability and age-related swallowing changes to improve swallowing safety, mealtime enjoyment and quality of life.
What is Dysphagia?
Dysphagia (“dis-fay-juh”) refers to swallowing impairments. It can affect eating, drinking, taking medication and managing saliva. Dysphagia impacts everyone differently, so we make sure to tailor sessions to each individual client with careful assessment and comprehensive support.

IDDSI SUPPORT
Our clinicians are experienced in implementing the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) framework across home, disability and aged care settings. Our goal is to help everyone involved in mealtimes to understand why texture modification matters, not simply follow a diet label.

We have capacity to assist more regional and rural aged care centres with fantastic speech pathology services via telehealth. We tailor a service package to each individual centre, with free training provided to nursing and kitchen staff in regional areas, to support team confidence, skill building and increased levels of dysphagia care.
